About Colleen

Colleen is a dynamic and results-oriented marketing professional with a passion for driving impactful marketing strategies and achieving organizational goals.

With a proven track record in brand management, strategic marketing, and team leadership, Colleen has honed her skills through diverse experiences across various industries. Currently serving as the Director of Operations at Franklin Wright Settlements in Detroit, MI, Colleen leads the development and execution of comprehensive strategic marketing plans, resulting in increased community engagement and program enrollment. In this role, she oversees all aspects of marketing for Franklin Wright Settlements, from managing social media channels to spearheading grant acquisition efforts, securing funding opportunities to support the organization’s initiatives.

Prior to her current role, Colleen served as the Marketing & Communications Manager at Electronic Transaction Consultants in Richardson, TX, where she directed the organization’s rebranding efforts and managed an $800k budget for business development and marketing initiatives. Her experience also includes roles such as District Marketing Coordinator at Rite Aid Pharmacy, where she developed internal communication channels and designed promotional materials contributing to increased immunization rates.

In addition to her professional experience, Colleen holds a Marketing MBA from Marylhurst University and bachelor’s degrees in Public Relations and Dance from Wayne State University. She is proficient in various tools and platforms, including Adobe Creative Suite, MailChimp, Google Analytics, WordPress, and HubSpot.

Outside of work, Colleen is actively involved in organizations and volunteer work, such as serving as an organizing member of The Detroit Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution and leading the Finance Committee at Alpha Epsilon Phi Sorority, serving 15 universities.
